This policy explains what personal information Upfront Sites collects through this website, why, and what you can do about it. We follow the Privacy Act 2020 and its information privacy principles.
Upfront Sites is the trading name of Mariano Genco, a sole trader based in Argentina who builds websites for New Zealand businesses, working online. You can contact us about privacy at hello@upfrontsites.nz. Mariano Genco is our privacy officer.
When you use the price calculator or email us, we collect what you give us:
To stop the form being abused, we also store a one-way coded version of your internet address with your enquiry. It can’t be turned back into your address.
Giving us your details is optional, but without a name and email we can’t reply to you.
We don’t use your details for marketing, and we don’t send newsletters unless you ask for them.
Only us. We use a few service providers to run the business, who handle your information on our behalf:

We don’t sell or share your information with anyone else, unless the law requires it.
Because we work from Argentina and our providers store data outside New Zealand, your information is held overseas. We only use providers we trust to protect it in a way that, overall, gives it comparable safeguards to those in New Zealand’s Privacy Act.
If you don’t become a client, we delete your enquiry within 24 months. If you do, we keep your details for as long as we work together and then for seven years, as required for tax records.
This website only uses the cookies it needs to work. We don’t use advertising cookies or track you across other websites. If that changes, we’ll update this policy.
You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you and ask us to correct it. Email hello@upfrontsites.nz and we’ll reply within 20 working days. If you’re not happy with our answer, you can complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner.
If a privacy breach is likely to cause you serious harm, we’ll tell you and the Privacy Commissioner as soon as we can.
